“All Laid Out” is another of my collaborations with Berlin’s Calman, a musician who is just as obsessed with visuals as I am.
Building on the visual language we had developed during previous projects for his soon to be released album, “Kann Grad Nicht”, we set out to push the surrealism of his visual style to the maximum. By relocating the scene to a digital landscape completely under our control, we were able to re-envision the sourroundings first explored in the upcoming video to his song “Kathodenstrahl”.
Shot with the support of University of the Arts, Berlin, we managed to realize this project with very limited budget and time, yet added a unique twist to create this somber yet captivating voyage.
